People discuss the construction of Siurung Medical Post

MoDDD student and soon to be graduate David Anderson recently returned from a trip to Nepal where he worked on two projects with Aussie Action Abroad. The first was a medical post for the remote village of Siurung and a mothers group hall for the village of Amar Jotty – both in Lamjung.

According to David, “the exploratory visits to each community was very much better informed by having just completed the MoDDD degree. This time around I felt better equipped having solidified an understanding of community development. It was interesting that, even though I have been doing this for a while, having undertaken the studies and subjects associated with the MoDDD degree, I felt more grounded”.
